Ladies and gentlemen, when going into a committed relationship, know your place, define your boundaries and lay out your responsibilities. This prevents half the challenges you would have otherwise certainly faced in the future.

Now, I'm no "Dr. Phil", but I've witnessed the decay that comes with undefined territories first hand. How love slowly turns into hate and chaos and worse, if kids are involved, the negative energy that is usually projected onto them. When embers are left to fester, they become full flames and likewise, when unresolved issues are left unattended, they grow into pits of darkness with no point of return.
Don't feign ignorance, it's no bliss. Communication is key in every relationship, magic is just an illusion, so don't expect your partner to understand the look in your eyes or the thoughts swirling in your head or to handle the assumed gender related responsibilities. Use your words.
I think life has challenged us enough to know the value of time, so don't waste it wallowing in misery and self pity, and I hope when love encounters reality, love does conquer.
