There's just something about December that transcends one into a different state of mind. Although I don't accord it the attention it deserves, I love watching other people live it to its fullest and I hope I'll get there someday.

The spirit of giving that floats in the air, the smiles that light up even the grouchiest of faces and most of all, the feeling of home when a family comes together.
I hope your holiday is filled with all that and so much more. I hope you lessen the burden on your shoulder just enough to allow you to carry on tidings of great comfort and joy. I hope you allow yourself to grieve and carry on fond memories with a smile on your face. I hope you give more than you receive; your time, your energy and your attention. I hope you experience the unconditional love you deserve.
And lastly, I hope you have a merry Christmas and a wonderful new year full of better opportunities and greater possibilities.
